Due to the lack of interest and participation shown by the majority of the members I am considering shutting down the Let's Go Camping forum on March 1st. It has been something I have truly enjoyed doing even if I can no longer camp. But without member support and appreciation it is a pointless endeavor.
Most, not all, members here have pretty much shown they are not group camping people. Most everyone does their own thing with little to no consideration or appreciation for the scheduled campouts.
Interaction between members is virtually non-existent. Very low activity on the forums. Not at all inviting to prospective members. No amount of my prompting and requesting for participation from the members has made any difference whatsoever. The time has come to throw in the towel.
This lack of member participation has ultimately resulted in the death of the Let's Go Camping forum.
So, enjoy your camping excursions. I do wish everyone the best.
