We really enjoyed this park. It's been recently updated (has wifi repeaters throughout, but there is a problem with them and were not fully functioning at the time March '17), sites all paved, the picnic and fire pits located for some privacy. We were at site 25, at the bottom of the hill for the shower house, so it was quite the hike for visits (we are in a pop up, no facilities). There are some nice trails to wander/hike, some Geocaches available for finding, and launch site for float trips. The hosts are chatty, but very nice. Bathroom facilities are very nice, eco friendly and kept cleaned. Lots of big rigs in the park, so plenty of sites big enough now matter how you like to camp. We were there when there were severe storms, and even tornados nearby, we barely felt the wind due to the terrain around us. This one is near our home, so it will be a place we visit frequently I think.
