There are several ways to set up email notifications. In most cases you can use the Actions -> Notification Options (see Example 3)
To set up globally go to Profile->Edit Profile->Notifications
Example 1: You want to be notified when someone has sent you a PM (Personal Message): 1. Select Profile 2. Select Edit Profile 3. Select Notifications 4. Locate Personal Message 5. Change the Email column from never to instant (or any other choice)
Example 2: You want to be notified when a new post is made in the camping schedule: 1. Select Profile 2. Select Edit Profile 3. Select Notifications 4. At the bottom of the page select the +Add Board button 5. From the pop up box select Camping forums -> Camping Schedule & Signup 6. Press the Select button 7. A new box will appear. Locate New Post 8. Change the Email column from never to instant (or any other choice)
Example 3: You want to be notified when a new post is made to a specific thread: 1. Select Profile 2. Select Edit Profile 3. Select Notifications 4. Select Bookmark 5. Change the Email column from never to instant (or any other choice) 6. Select the specific thread Board->Thread (check box to the left of the thread title) 7. Select Action->Bookmark Note: Steps 1 through 4 are only done one time. After that you need only perform steps 6 and 7 for future threads.
