Clabough's campground
We spent last week in the mountains and stayed at Claboughs. Over all if was a desent camp. Most of the sites where close to each other. Several full timers in two of the loops. We stayed right behind a cabin that was empty, might not have been so nice if it had been rented. There is a trolley stop in the camp ground if you want to park and ride. Bathhouses where older but clean. The campground is off wears Vally road so it is fairly easy to travel inside the forge. We will camp here again. Hope this helps

Stayed at Claboughs last weekend. Steve pretty much summed it up.
Only wanted to add, the sewer connections on the B loop are a bit out of the way if your sewer outlet is anywhere but at the very back. Their store there does have a BIG variety of sewer hoses, I had to buy an extra 20' to get to the hookup  . After looking around, I wasn't the only one with a 30' sewer hose, most there were. Not a deal breaker at all though!
The campground was very clean and up kept. Only one loop was open, B.....90% of the campers there looked to be full timers but hardly no one was there. Probably less than 10 families were there the entire weekend. Most sites had a fire ring. All sites had a picnic table and metal charcoal grill on a stand. Gravel parking pads. Concrete patio on most. Most site were fairly level, a few were not any where close. Free WIFI. Cable included.
Their store is nice and also serves as a small hardware store, got about anything you would need.
They also have a very fair prices for the area. I'd defiantly camp there again and probably will sometime in 2015. Give it a 4.5 out of 5

I wonder how much the campground supplements their revenue just by selling sewer hoses. LOL :-)

Oh I'm sure they've made a few dollars off selling sewer hoses  .
I cant really complain though, they were priced very reasonable....and I needed at least one more anyway.

I have been to claboughs twice now and both times had great success. The store is fully equipped with all the extra parts you may need. I did however reserve our site's early in the year didn't know that they would encounter 98 mile an hour wind speed the night we were too arive so I called that day and told them I would be in the next morning since they were having wind speed of that caliber, and since I called early they didn't charge me for that 1st night. I did tell them that since I made the reservation that if they needed to charge me i would pay although I still wasn't pulling my camper in a wind storm. They didn't charge me and they were very helpful and understanding. When I go i like the D section matter a fact the D-108 has 2 sewer taps on it and is perfect for rigs that dump from the middle of there rig.
