Post subject: Keep those bugs out!
One of the biggest sources of aggravation is those appliances that don't work when you need them. Bugs love to build their condos in the refrigerator and water heater gas tubes. Usually you won't discover this until you get set up and are faced with an appliance that doesn't work.
Install bug screens in these areas. Don't forget the furnace air intake and exhaust ports. Wasps and mud daubers will build their nests far up inside these tubes. This can result in an expensive fix.
There are commercial screen kits available for virtually all the configurations of these appliances. Spend a couple of bucks and potentially save yourself hours of aggravation.

Good post. We have already done this to ours. The dealer said for RV's with refrigerators pop the access panel off and put a car air fresher or a flea collar inside. Helps keep the mud bugs and wasp out.
